The Boldly Public Anti-Americanism of the American Left

It's Rush Limbaugh:
RUSH: So, Mr. Snerdley walked in here, looks at me, and says, “You’re gonna catch hell today, buddy.” I said, “Why? What did…? What did I do?” He said, “You gotta get that Nike shirt off, man! You can’t show up on the Dittocam…” “Oh, my God. I forgot. I didn’t even think about it.” So I made a mad dash into the dressing room in there that we use about twice a year when I do television. Thankfully, I had a shirt not made by Nike in there. It’s a Steelers coach’s shirt. So I slapped it on there. It’s a good catch by Mr. Snerdley. I didn’t even think of it. It didn’t even occur to me.

Who makes the shirt doesn’t matter to me when I go grab ’em and put ’em on. It’s not why I bought ’em. Anyway, greetings, folks. Here we are set, ready, and loaded to unload on another day in the United States of America. We’re coming up on Independence Day, which is Thursday, a couple days from now. Oh, by the way, have you heard? Mike Pence was scheduled to do an event in New Hampshire and his plane has been called back. The event, whatever it was in New Hampshire, has been canceled.

Pence is on the way back now to D.C. (he may be back by now) for an unspecified emergency. I haven’t seen any more on it than that. If there is something, it has escaped me. But whatever. When we learn more, we’ll pass it on. I wonder what it is. You know, then you realize Trump is gonna be front and center in Washington on Thursday. He’s asked for there to be tanks and a flyby on The Mall as part of the celebration of America. That is gonna… (chuckles) If that happens, can you imagine the provocative nature? I mean, putting tanks on the street!

The Democrat Party, the American left is gonna go bonkers. By the way, folks, is there any doubt that what we’re dealing with here — flat-out, now — is straight-up anti-Americanism? When I have mentioned casually and pointedly over the recent past that the American left has now become a political group that does not believe America could be fixed. America needs to be disbanded. America needs to be ripped up, torn apart, and rebuilt. We are forever flawed because of our founding.

Even though all of the grievances that they have about the founding have been addressed, have been fixed, such as women being able to vote, slavery and any number of things. That’s not good enough — and this Nike situation with Colin Kaepernick proves it! Colin Kaepernick is objecting to today’s flag, not the flag that flew before slavery. He’s objecting to today’s flag, and here’s Nike (because one of their paid athletes objects to the flag) pulling the shoe made with the American flag on it! I mean, there isn’t any question here that what we’re dealing with is not people who are aligned with us on things in common.

It used to be said of the two political parties that we all want what’s best for America. That can’t be said anymore. And it has not been the case for a long time, if you ask me. These people are not interested in what’s best for America. They want to tear it down, folks. They’re not even hiding it anymore. They’re not trying to even camouflage it. They aren’t trying to mask it. They aren’t trying to deceive us. They’re flat-out in our faces. They don’t like this country, and it’s not about fixing it. It’s about tearing it down. It’s about ripping apart the fabric of this country and destroying the people who are the descendants of those who founded it.

I don’t mean in a genetic sense. But people who believe in the founding, they’ve gotta go. Make no mistake about it. Colin Kaepernick and his behavior and Nike going along with him, in my estimation, is flat-out un-American. It’s anti-America, let’s put it that way. We don’t have any overlap here where it used to be said (impression), “Yeah, well, we’re all… We all want the best for America. We just have different, uh, theories about how to get there.” They’re not looking at the best! They want to rip this country apart. They want to tear up the concepts of the American founding.

Here we are two days before the Fourth of July, and I wouldn’t blame any of you if you’re out there kind of pulling your hair out, saying, “Can we not just have one day to celebrate this country? Can’t we just have one day between us?” This little AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and this gaggle of hysterical women that she takes down there with her to the border, lying their way through that border visit. You know, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has had happen to her what a bunch of shock-jock type people on the radio always have happen.

After a while, your gig gets old, your schtick no longer shocks, and so you have to keep crossing new lines. And that’s all she’s doing. She’s addicted to getting noticed. She’s out there, a former bartender, saying that Ivanka Trump has no business being a diplomat. “She’s got no experience being a diplomat! She doesn’t know what being a diplomat is,” from a former bartender who’s been elected to Congress with one of the lowest vote it turns out in the history of the congressional district.

Now she runs down there and starts trashing and lying about conditions at the border and the people who administer the people who come into this country illegally. She flat-out lies that the detainees are being forced to drink out of toilets! The Border Patrol and ICE people are denying this. Even this gaggle of lunatics with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez admit they haven’t seen it. There aren’t any witnesses have actually seen people being forced to drink water out of a toilet.

But, my friends, based on what we’re told about the circumstances where these people are fleeing, maybe toilet water’s a step up for some of them. Based on what the left is telling us their homelands are like. So we’ve got that to deal with. Now we have Nike canceling the rollout of a flag shoe — a new flag shoe — at the behest of a triggered anti-American ex-jock, Colin Kaepernick. But in a way, you can’t blame Nike because Kaepernick and that ad campaign they ran sold a heck of a lot of shoes. You couldn’t blame Nike for thinking that Kaepernick’s audience and the people that buy tennis shoes or whatever are indeed themselves anti-American. Not un-American, anti-American...

Trump Exposes Democrats' Hypocrisy and Lies, Outsmarts Them Again

From Rush Limbaugh:
RUSH: This today, ladies and gentlemen, may be one of the biggest See, I Told You So opportunity days I have had in years, maybe ever. And that’s really saying something, because I’ve had a lot of these over a stellar broadcast career. So forgive me if I point out your host — your beloved host, I, El Rushbo — predicted every single reaction that we are seeing from the news media and the rest of the Democrat Party. I have been chomping at the bit all night to get here.

It started shortly after the program ended yesterday, and I know all of you were watching the news and keeping track. I know you all noticed it. I know you’re out there saying, “It’s exactly what Rush said was gonna happen,” and it has happened. I don’t know if Donald Trump is a strategic genius, but I can tell you that he is an instinctive one. I don’t know how much Trump sits around and strategizes and tries to play, for example, a long game and say, “Okay. If I do this and do this, I know they’re gonna do this and this. So, after that happens, I’m going to do this.”

I don’t know if he’s that many steps down the board or not. But I know that his instincts are practically infallible here. He has turned these people inside out, upside down. He has forced them, made them, caused them — his enemies — to expose their hypocrisy, to expose their lies, and to expose the fact that they’re dishonest when reporting so-called news. For starters, ladies and gentlemen, I predicted the press would say that Trump caved, that they would begin to take credit for it, that they indeed had put so much pressure on Trump that finally they had made him cave.

Dana Bash at CNN was the first to start shouting with great happiness that they had made Trump cave. It was their first reaction. There were lots of articles with headlines claiming that Trump caved. There were other stories talking about Trump’s base supporters being tragically saddened and disappointed by this, that Trump didn’t have the guts to stick to his policy, that Trump is even less committed to this than Obama was. There was all kinds of stuff. But then — and you remember this — they began to realize, as I also predicted they would. (laughing)

In fact, the first guy to get up was a little bald head guy yesterday afternoon on CNN. (laughing) It was so fun to watch. We had the sound bite from the guy, Zac something or other. He’s the guy that the Fox infobabes love having this guy on. You can just tell that they are as amused as hell. He’s like a pet! You know, he’s like a talking pet. They’re just amused as hell when this guy gets wound up and gets going. He stands up out of his chair, starts gesticulating wildly, and they look at each other with the suppressed smiles. (laughing) They don’t even try to stop him!

Anyway, he was the first to figure it out. (laughing) They realized that this only meant one thing, that Trump was gonna keep families detained, if we’re gonna keep ’em together, they’re gonna stay detained, quote-unquote, “behind bars.” What the left has been looking for here all along is catch-and-release. That’s what they want to return to. They thought Trump caving meant that his executive order was gonna be, “We no longer detain children,” and since we can’t separate families, if we’re gonna detain the children, we can’t deign the adults.

Therefore nobody’s detained, thereby everybody is free to roam America and get lost. (laughing) Well, that’s not what the executive order says. And then I predicted that there would be a court challenge to this before the next day — today — arrived. And I predicted that the court challenge would be on the fact that Trump had usurped his executive authority, that he cannot trump (no pun intended) existing law as written by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the Flores decision, which the media never talked about during any of this.

When they’re clamoring for Trump to end his supposedly policy of separation, the no tolerance. It isn’t his. It never was, which you know. But they’re demanding that he end it. And all during those days where they’re demanding that he end it, they never once said that there was an opinion from the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals called the Flores decision that prevents him from ending it. Then when he signs his executive order, then all of a sudden they discover Flores to say that his executive order may not be valid. (laughing)

They fell right into this at every step!

Rush Limbaugh: 'I Wish People Would Take a Moment and Step Back, and Realize What an Epic Presidency This Is?' (AUDIO)

At RCP, "Limbaugh: Can We Take a Moment and Appreciate How Epic Trump Presidency Is?"
I wish people would take a moment to step back and realize what an epic presidency this is and realize we are never gonna see anything like this again our lifetimes, and we’ve never had it prior to this in my lifetime. I mean, normally we get idiots like Jimmy Carter, who do great damaging things. I mean, while Trump is doing all this, the country is vastly improving! As I have detailed today. Some of the core things that were destroying the guts of this country are being reversed. And it’s…

'Dad, Rush Limbaugh and Me'

An interesting op-ed from Madeline Janis, at the Los Angeles Times.

Read it all. She admits to being a stereotypical leftist and she harangued her father for listening to Rush Limbaugh. (One of her biggest peeves is that he received government benefits --- the GI Bill, Social Security and Medicare --- but was still conservative, as if conservatives don't support any government role in social welfare, health and education, a common leftist fallacy.) But the conclusion caught my eye:
I suspect that our family dynamic wasn't unique, and that across America fathers and daughters and sons and mothers have learned to accommodate political differences and respect one another across the gulf. Our love for each other and our family helped my father and me transcend the enormous ideological divide between us.

It makes me wonder if there isn't something in these experiences that might help us, as Americans, transcend our political differences. Even if we don't have the same closeness as a family, Americans of all political stripes do share a love of country. And that could be a start, at least, at reaching across the gulf of ideology to work cooperatively and respectfully to solve the challenges facing the nation.
And that's another leftist fallacy, which ends up being a pernicious leftist lie, that "Americans of all political stripes share a love of country."

Leftists do not actually love this country. The left --- and that includes this presidential administration and the congressional Democrat Party --- are Democrat-Socialists marinated in class warfare rhetoric and Marxist welfare redistributionism. They don't love this country. They love what they think this country could be if they were able to fully impose their socialist program on Americans without opposition.

And that's the basis of our political differences, which are irreconcilable. That some people agree to go along to get along is a testament to our national attributes of decency and pragmatism. But America as a nation will continue to stagnate as long as people remain ignorant to the true nature of leftism. The next two elections are crucial in this regard. And the GOP needs to have candidates who aren't afraid to call it like it is, people like Michele Bachmann and Allen West. And when more people like this win office and implement basic policies of decency, probity, and prudence, we'll start to turn things around.

In any case, more at the letters to the editor, "More on 'Dad, Rush Limbaugh and Me'."

Race-Baiting Leftists Exploit #TrayvonMartin's Death at NAACP Hate-Fest

And you have to especially love MSNBC hack Al Sharpton's out there making an angry, vitriolic speech, just as you'd expect of any serious television news journalists nowadays (snark).

At the Orlando Sentinel, "Sharpton calls 'stand your ground' law 'worst violation of civil rights' in America":

Roving Mob of Hollywood Robbers 'Some of the Same Youths' at Crenshaw #TrayvonMartin Riots

The Zimmerman verdict serves only as an excuse for widespread crime, mayhem, and vandalism.

And these people are angels in the eyes of the regressive left's racial grievance mongers.

At LAT, "LAPD: Roving Hollywood robbers may also be Zimmerman protest vandals":

A band of robbers that tore through Hollywood Boulevard on Tuesday night appear to be some of the same youths who were attacking people and vandalizing stores in the Crenshaw district earlier this week where demonstrators were protesting the George Zimmerman murder trial verdict, police said.

The thieves moved fast and swarmed their victims, mirroring the activity seen in Crenshaw the previous evening.

“I think this specific group came up to riot and cause problems in Hollywood,” LAPD Sgt. John Barkley said. "They were not engaging in any kind of protest."

Also, "12 arrested as Hollywood hit by roaming bands of robbers, police say."

And these are black thug robbers. Not "white protesters." These are criminal race-ass thugs exploiting shakedown race-ass rioting.

And the regressive left is totally freakin' down with it.

Mayor Eric Garcetti Responds to #TrayvonMartin Protests

I think he's shown a hands-on approach. He was out of town when the rioting got out of hand and he cut short his trip.

At the Los Angeles Times, "Mayor Garcetti faces an early test in Zimmerman protests":

Two weeks after being sworn in as mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti is facing the first big test of his leadership skills as he responds to outbreaks of vandalism and violence in the aftermath of George Zimmerman's acquittal in the killing of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin.

Garcetti stepped before a bank of news cameras on a lawn outside Dorsey High School in South Los Angeles on Tuesday and immediately made clear his solidarity with peaceful protesters, saying that they had "gathered to exercise beautifully their 1st Amendment rights."

But he also sought to establish a firm law and order footing as the city's new chief executive. "Tonight, we will be increasing the number of police officers deployed, and they will respond quickly to any criminal activity," Garcetti said, with Police Chief Charlie Beck and South Los Angeles clergy and political leaders at his side. "Crimes of any kind will be stopped."

For Garcetti, who interrupted an East Coast trip Monday and returned to the city after the unrest erupted, the disturbances offered a jarring demonstration of how forces beyond his control can disrupt his efforts to shape a new City Hall agenda.
Garcetti's a far-left tool, much like Occupy-plagued Oakland Mayor Jean Quan. Idiot city leaders like this are completely bum-f-ked when they realize the protesters with whom they share ideological solidarity couldn't give a rat's ass about them and their words of "beautiful" peace and freedom speech.

It's pretty hilarious actually. Now, crack some heads next time, mayor.

#Zimmerman Jurors Speak Out: Juror B37 Does Not Speak for Us

At the Los Angeles Times, "Zimmerman trial: 4 jurors say Juror B37 does not speak for them":

A day after one juror in the George Zimmerman murder trial spoke out on national television, four other members of the six-woman jury released a statement separating themselves from her comments.

In their statement to CNN on Tuesday night, the jurors defended their roles in the trial.

“We, the undersigned jurors, understand there is a great deal of interest in this case. But we ask you to remember that we are not public officials and we did not invite this type of attention into our lives," the jurors wrote.

"We also wish to point out that the opinions of Juror B37, expressed on the Anderson Cooper show, were her own, and not in any way representative of the jurors listed below."

The jurors' identities have not been revealed; they were identified in court by letters and numbers.

In an exclusive interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday, Juror B37 said the panel was initially divided on Zimmerman’s guilt in the death of Trayvon Martin, but worked through the evidence to reach a unanimous verdict. A couple of the jurors "wanted to find him guilty of something," the juror said.

She said she thought Zimmerman had been driven to recklessness in pursuing Martin by a string of burglaries in his Sanford, Fla., neighborhood, but also thought that Martin could have walked away from the confrontation.

“I think both could have walked away; it just didn’t happen," the juror told Cooper, her face shadowed in the darkened studio. "It’s very emotional."

Police Mobilize for 4th Night of Los Angeles #TrayvonMartin Protests

I think city officials are tired of this sh*t.

But we'll see how it goes.

Oakland #Zimmerman Protests Kick Off for Fourth Night

Here we go.

Some revolutionary Occupy solidarity while things still seem calm.

LAPD Deploys for 4th Night of #Zimmerman Riots

Seems to me things would be cooling down by now, but I suspect the Trayvon Martin rioters have been having too much fun to let things go already.

As always, I'll be updating throughout the night --- because, look over there! No "mass" riots!

Oakland's Non-Profit Youth Radio Smashed by #TrayvonMartin Rioters

Because it's all about "justice" for the disadvantaged, mf.

At Twitchy, "For Trayvon? Genius rioters smash up Youth Radio in Oakland [photos, video]":
“Mostly peaceful protesters” mostly smashed the crap out Youth Radio, a nonprofit youth-based media organization in Oakland, Calif. Hey, someone’s gotta hold those windows accountable for George Zimmerman’s not-guilty verdict … for the children.

What would yours say? Get a job, mf.

And, well, maybe the youth director will think twice about tweeting that dumbf-k communist solidarity crap. Love the folded arms. He deserves it, the tool.

Salon's White Privilege Branding

George Zimmerman is not white. No amount of leftist racist grievance-mongering will change that fact. He's Hispanic, not "white Hispanic," the term the networks invented when Zimmeran's minority background didn't fit the white supremacy narrative. And remember, because the left has been getting nearly everything it wants of late, the hissy fit tantrums are even more violent than usual.

William Jacobson has more, "Zimmerman verdict energizes Salon.com’s White Privilege branding."

#TrayvonMartin Temper Tantrums Continued

I think Rush Limbaugh's commentary can't be much improved, "The Left's Pathetic Temper Tantrum Over the #Zimmerman Verdict."

That said, the leftist crybabies are still bawling over the verdict, as evidenced by all the screeching cries of racism at Memorandum. You've got Al Sharpton, Eugene Robinson, the Think Progress communists ... you name it.

I'm rolling my eyes. The regressive left's tantrums of the day, I guess.

In any case, here's Robert Stacy McCain's latest, "‘The Greater Good’: Heretical Facts vs. the Myth of St. Trayvon of the Blessed Hoodie."

I'll have more later...
